What is CompuDance?

CompuDance is an integrated software package which has been helping manage the non-artistic aspects of dance - music - gymnastic studios -- Student Registration, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Recital, Billing, E-Mailing, Payroll, Mailing, Attendance, Costumes, EFT (ACH) and Credit Card Posting, etc. -- for 22  years.  The DOS version was released in 1986; the Windows® version followed in 1996.  The  current version is 7.30 released June 4, 2007.  CompuDance costs less and is used by more dance-music-gymnastic studios world-wide than any other dance management software.  The installed base is in over 2,500 studios around the world.  It is published by Theatre Administration Consultants in San Antonio, Texas.

Components

  1. Student/Income  - contains all of your class, student, registration, attendance, recital, mailing, accounts receivable, billing, E-Mail and income operations  (2.1 MB)

  2. Expenses/Payrolls  - handles your accounts payable including payrolls  (389 KB)

  3. Music Locator  - classifies, defines, catalogues, and helps you find your all of your music on cds, cassettes, records, tapes, etc.  (125 KB)

  4. "A File of Some Friends"  - keeps a database of your prospective students, former students, or other names/addresses of importance to your studio  (189 KB)

  5. A complete installation includes all four components, and requires 7 MB free disk space.  It is available on one Compact Disc.

         Printer: ink jet or laser; parallel or USB
         CD-ROM: 1X or faster
         Flash Drive required for daily backup
         Display: 640 x 480 or 800 x 600         

Pricing

There is no limit to the number of computers on which you may freely install CompuDance, no matter where they are.  You can have up to five separate studios in five separate locations at no additional charge.  And, you don't pay extra to add the network version to any of your computers.  The current price is $US274.00 plus optional applicable shipping.  (Non-profit organizations please call for special pricing.)
